Wembley Market is extremely popular with both public and traders alike, so there is a considerable demand for space. Regular stalls, when available, are not allocated on a first come first served basis but by commodity. Casual traders are welcome from 7a.m. Regular casual traders are usually given preference when a position becomes available.
There is an office on site which is staffed from 7am on Sundays and we have security personnel who are all in radio contact. The market site has a tarmac surface and floodlighting and there are trader facilities available. Perimeter stalls are 30ft deep and all the others are 10ft deep. All stalls are let in 10ft units. All traders here must use these stalls which are provided free of charge. Traders will have to provide their own covers. Tables are available for traders to hire.

All traders must comply with the requirements of all of the Health and Safety at Work Legislation and read and conform to Wendy Fair Markets Health and Safety Policy Statement, which is available from the market manager. Everyone must operate in a safe manner and ensure they minimise any risks to customers, their staff and themselves.
All traders must have Public Liability Insurance and must have Employers Liability Insurance if you employ anyone on your stall. To book a pitch two weeks advance fee is required. The fee will then be collected each week. This will mean that you are paying two weeks in advance to guarantee your pitch. If you decide to finish you stop paying the fees and continue to work for the period of your advance fee and then leave. No pitches can be allocated unless some fees are paid. The Application Form must be completed and handed to your Manager or sent to Head Office with the correct amount of money.
